Is USANA Scam or Fraud?
Written by pinoyusana on August 19th, 2009USANA is never heard of in the Philippines until late of 2008 when Google ads start appearing, announcing the pre-opening and pre-registration for the UHS Essential Health Philippines, Inc.
Whenever there’s a “new” network marketing company in the block, either people will grab the opportunity to ride the wagon and be enthusiastic with it or bring out all their anti-network marketing tools to scrutinize the new player.
As a network marketer it’s always and a MUST to check whether the company you are joining is a scam or not. USANA is not an exception.
Let’s try to scrutinize and unfold what USANA is and let’s take a closer look if it’s a scam (fraud) or not.
The Compensation Plan
USANA’s is using binary as their compensation plan. Binary plan is a typical structure in MLM. It is called Binary because it works in two’s. It simply means, developing two downlines in your right and left side. Binary is a legal MLM plan.
The Company
The company was founded in 1992 by Dr. Myron Wentz. It is a direct selling company operating in 14 countries. USANA Health Sciences is publicly traded on NASDAQ Stock Market® under the symbol “USNA.” has traded on the NASDAQ since July 1996.
Finances of the Company
The company records a consistent sales and profit growth and as of August 2009, USANA announced that cumulative net sales of its nutritional and skin-care products had topped $3 billion.
The Product
USANA develops and manufactures high quality nutritional and personal care products. USANA voluntarily follows Good Manufacturing Practices for pharmaceuticals as the basic for its quality assurance program even if their products fall under the category of dietary supplements. Pharmaceutical GMP are much more stricter than the food GMP.
Training
USANA has one of the best support system in the its field. They even won the 1999 Industry Innovation Award from the Direct Selling Association for their web-based online training. Sponsored corporate trainings are also available almost everyday.
Based on the facts stated above, USANA Health Sciences is not a Scam. It’s a real business company that sells its own products and provides one the best earning opportunities in the industry.

Hey Philippineusana,
Thanks for the above, I recently wrote an article called:
Building a relationship with your subscriber is very important
One of the most beneficial things you must do to achieve
success online is to build a solid relationship with your subscriber.
building a relationship is important because it can
make the difference between making a sale and losing it to your competitor.
You see, just like in genuine life, if I had to choose between
a friend who provides a service like car repair and a stranger who offered the same price, I choose
my friend in less than a heartbeat.
Why? Because I’d rather give HIM my company compared to another stranger.
E-mail marketing can be quite competitive at times. Therefore when two marketers are promoting the
same product, having a effective rapport with your subscribers will give you a
competitive edge.
