USANA voluntarily follows Good Manufacturing Practices for pharmaceuticals as the basic for its quality assurance program even if their products fall under the category of dietary supplements. Pharmaceutical GMP are much more stricter than the food GMP.

USANA has one of the best support system in the its field. They even won the 1999 Industry Innovation Award from the Direct Selling Association for their web-based online training.  Sponsored corporate trainings are also available almost everyday.
